Local Authority District Council Case Study
They used the Team Leaders for the Future program as the foundation for their managers’ leadership development learning. It was offered to all of their managers to give them a foundation learning across the three areas of ‘Leading Myself’, ‘Leading Individuals’, and ‘Leading Teams’. They found that the online program delivers a flexible way of learning where managers can work at their own pace. It can also be set up for a cohort of learners who support each other as they work through the modules together. They used all 12 lessons across the three modules, providing development across a wide range of topics, leaving managers better equipped to show up as the best version of themselves, coaching others to deliver to their potential and to create high-performing teams. They had positive feedback from their managers who found the flexibility of delivery very helpful to fit in with their busy working lives.
Why this Programme
As remote and flexible working models become the norm, many team leaders feel unprepared to manage the emotional, digital, and performance needs of their people. This programme bridges that gap by building resilience, compassion, and future-focused leadership capabilities.

County Council Case Study
They first ran a pilot of the Team Leaders for the Future program with a cohort of 15 managers over a defined timescale. It worked well having them support each other, and they provided a facilitator to work with them to ensure integration of the learning back into the workplace. After the success of the pilot, they went on to offer the program to aspiring managers as well as managers within their wide range of partner organisations, such as the police and fire services. The feedback has been positive as managers found the content to be very practical and easily transferable into their teams. The online approach allows them to work at their own pace. They also found it helpful to work in cohorts and to a specified timeframe. They uploaded the content onto their own LMS, and they award a certificate on completion of the program.
