“We have used the Team Leaders for the Future program as the foundation for our managers’ leadership development learning. It is offered to all of our managers to give them a foundation learning across the three areas of ‘Leading Myself’, ‘Leading Individuals’, and ‘Leading Teams’. It is an online program that offers a flexible way of learning where managers can work at their own pace. It can also be set up for a cohort of learners who support each other as they work through the modules together. There are 12 lessons across the three modules, providing development across a wide range of topics, leaving managers better equipped to show up as the best version of themselves, coaching others to deliver to their potential and to create high-performing teams. Every lesson has a short summary video and a detailed workbook, as well as other questionnaires etc. We have had positive feedback from our managers who find the flexibility of delivery very helpful to fit in with busy working lives. .”

"We first ran a pilot of the Team Leaders for the Future program with a cohort of 15 managers over a defined timescale. It worked well having them support each other, and we provided a facilitator to work with them to ensure integration of the learning back into the workplace. After the success of the pilot, we now offer the program to our aspiring managers as well as managers within our partner organisations, such as the police and fire services. The feedback has been positive as managers have found the content to be very practical and easily transferable into their teams. The online approach allows them to work at their own pace. We have found it helpful to work in cohorts and to have a specified timeframe to ensure all the lessons are covered. We uploaded the content onto our own LMS, and we award a certificate on completion of the program."
